How often do we see the normalization of stalking and harassment in South Asian movies and music videos? Probably enough for us to actually lose count. South Asian media, for decades, has not only normalized the above behaviours, but has also shamelessly romanticized them. Harassment and eve-teasing aren’t just moments of discomfort, they’re violations of personal space and dignity. This project, explores the romanticization of stalking, and eve-teasing through the rosey lens of Bollywood and turns the narrative around on the stalkers themselves.
